Pet-quality kittens are $1500. Pet- quality means that kittens are not being purchased to breed or to show. The price includes a $200 non-refundable deposit to hold your kitten until pick-up time. It also includes your kitten's first two rounds of vaccinations, dewormings, vet checks, microchipping, and a one year health guarantee against genetic diseases. All kittens being sold as pet quality will go to their new homes on a spay/neuter contract. Our prices are non-negotiable.
Kittens who have the potential for show and or breeding will start out at $3,400. A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to hold a kitten for show and or breeding. Buyers with interest in showing/breeding will be given preference to kitten choice. Veterinarian and mentor references may be required if purchasing breeding rights.
We traditionally have a waitlist for our kittens however, we do not require a deposit to be added to the waitlist. When kittens are born, individuals on the waitlist will be notified and when kittens are between 3-4 weeks old, those on the waitlist can begin placing deposits on the kitten of their choice.
Once a kitten is chosen, a non-refundable deposit of $200 can be placed on the kitten of your choice. Deposits can be made via CashApp, Venmo or Zelle. After a kitten has been reserved, updates in the form of videos and/or pictures will be sent once a week, (usually on the weekend) until the kitten is picked up at 12 weeks of age. We do not allow in-person visits at this time.
Kittens can be picked up from my home on Willow Road in Warren, Indiana when kittens are 12 weeks old. A schedule of future pick up dates/times will be sent to choose from by the time the kitten is 6 weeks old so new families can plan ahead. It is very important that kittens go home in a timely manner. If a late-pick up time is necessary, a boarding fee of $10 per day will be charged after the kitten is 13 weeks old. If flying in to pick up a kitten is required, I can meet at the Fort Wayne Int
We know you have a choice who you choose as your breeder and we want to thank you and welcome you to our Ragdoll Family! Within the letter are tips and tricks for new kitten owners and general information about acclimating your new kitten to your home.
Inside the veterinarian booklet are your kitten's vaccination and deworming records as well as microchipping information. Kittens are vaccinated at 8 and 12 to aid in the prevention of feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia (cat distemper). Kittens are also dewormed several times starting at 4 weeks and then every two weeks thereafter until pick up.
Each kitten is microchipped and the information within the microchip can be personalized for the new owner.
Upon pick up, the purchaser and breeder with both sign and date the Bill of Sale and Health & Wellness Contract. One contract will stay with the breeder and another copy will go home with the purchaser.
A small sample of dry and wet kitten food will be sent home with your kitten.
A small sample of toys and treats will go home with your kitten.
Breeder's slips will only be sent home with those purchasing breeding rights. Breeder's slips will be sent to those purchasing pet-quality kittens once proof of spay or neuter has been complete.
A 5 generation pedigree will be sent home with those kittens whose owners have purchased breeding rights.
It's a great idea to prepare a small room for your kitten to stay in for the first few nights. The room should include a litter box, food, water and a soft place to sleep. Laundry or bathrooms work great! This helps acclimate your kitten to new smells and sounds in its new home and also gives it a place to relax, eat, drink and use the bathroom. Below are some other things we suggest preparing ahead of time:
Per the Health Contract, your kitten will need to be examined by a veterinarian within three business days of pick up. This visit will just be an external examination to ensure you received a healthy kitten. Your kitten will also need to visit the vet when he or she is 16 weeks old for booster vaccinations and an additional deworming.
This is dry kitten food in a purple bag. Wet food is also an option but we recommend only giving a small amount to prevent loose stools.
Any clumping litter will work but we use Tidy Cat for our Litter Robots.
Kitten's aren't too picky when it comes to toys! They will play with almost anything!
Scratch pads and towers are a must! Place them in high-scratch areas (like chair and couch corners) to help deter scratching on the furniture. Scratching is known to relieve stress and trim nails.
Cats love to look down upon us! Set a cat tree by a window and your kitten will be entertained for days!
